Our regular services are:

First Sunday Parish Eucharist (CW) at 09.30 (tea and coffee served afterwards)

Second Sunday Parish Eucharist (BCP) at 09.30 (tea and coffee served afterwards)

Third Sunday Parish Eucharist (CW) at 09.30 (tea and coffee served afterwards)

Third Sunday Joint Service at 18.00 with Montacute Baptist Church and St Mary’s Stoke sub Hamdon – alternately at the churches.

Fourth Sunday Family Service (informal) at 10.00 – 10.30. Childrens Craft Activities at 09.30 – big people welcome too! (tea and coffee served afterwards)

Every Monday – Morning Prayer with Revd. Annie at 8.30am

Special Services for Christmas

Carol Service – Thursday 21 December at 7.30 – with the Stoke sub Hamdon Brass Band. Mulled wine and mince pies afterwards!

Midnight Communion – Sunday 24 December at 11.30pm

Christmas Day Family Service – at 9.30

  1. Very encouraging to see the Anglicans and Baptists working together; this is a lesson we need to learn in Wales.

    • Hello Marc! Thank you for your encouraging comment! I will pass it on to our friends at the Baptist Chapel. Montacute is not a big community so it is important that those working to a single aim (bringing people to know and love Jesus) do so in harmony, even if our practice and views differ on some matters. We actually collaborate more than the website shows and our leaders meet periodically and informally for fellowship. For example,until recently (it is currently suspended for operational reasons) we jointly ran Messy Church. We have so much more in common than divides us! We wish you every blessing in your efforts.
